IT
UP!
Feeling creative? Come on down to the annual Chalk It Up!
sidewalk chalk art competition, presented by the Lake Stevens Arts
Commission on Sunday from 1 to 3pm at the North Cove Park. For a $20 entrance fee
for adults and $7 for children sidewalk
chalk artists are given chalk, a 6x6 sidewalk square and two hours
to create their winning masterpiece.
Drawings will be judged at 3pm
with adult cash prizes of $250 for first place, $150 for second and $50 for
third. There will also be 1 children's prizes of 1st place
$50. All other youth
participants (12 and under) will receive a certificate for Baskin
Robbins ice cream.
To enter, you must register at the
City Booth on Sunday, after 11:30 AM. For more
