Pet Show"

to be a BIG hit with families! Aquafest’s Proud Pet Show promoters promise this year’s show to be
the best ever! The show has been structured so that children and
families will enjoy this wonderful and fun experience! The contestants
will be children aged 16 and under,
 who will enter with their favorite
pet to compete in one of nine categories to win a prize.
Date/Time/Location
The Aquafest Proud Pet Show will be held on
the evening of Friday, July 27, 2007, at approximately 7
p.m., immediately following Aquafest’s Children’s Parade. The show
will be held at the gazebo near the City of Lake Stevens Permit
Center, which is located at 1820 Main Street in the City of Lake
Stevens.
Who can enter?
Children aged 16 and under are invited to
bring their favorite pet to compete in Aquafest’s Proud Pet Show.
Pre-registration
Registration for the show is FREE! This year
we are asking that parents pre-register their child(ren) and their
favorite pet prior to the show. Processing of paperwork for the
contestants in advance will help us organize the event. See “How to
Enter” below for details on entering the show. Pre-register by
Sat., July 14, 2007.

Everyone is a winner! All Proud Pet Show
entrants will be awarded a ribbon and will receive a gift. In addition,
special prizes and certificates will be awarded to 1 st,
2nd and 3rd place winners
in the above categories.
Judging
Three qualified volunteers have been chosen
to judge and select winners in the above categories. We are very
grateful for their help with this great event!
How to enter
A Pre-registration Form/Waiver must be
completed for each entry. A downloadable Pre-registration/Waiver form
is available below or call (425) 374-2119 to request a form.

brought to the show on a leash, or restrained in a humane manner.

 Congratulations
to Cyrstal Sorenson,
age 7, of Lake Stevens, who has taken the Aquafest 2006 title of
"Proudest Pet". Crystal is pictured right with her
Chocolate Lab "Hershel". Under hot temperatures and
difficult conditions "Hershel" impressed the judges by
performing several tricks willingly for Crystal, his young
master.
