2017 Aquafest Information
Aquafest 2017 will be bigger and better than ever.
We will also be changing our website design significantly so stay tuned - this is a major project.
But for now there are things that are needed to
get the 2017 Aquafest off to a good start. So see below:
Miss Aquafest Pageant Season is Here!
The Miss Aquafest Pageant is taking place
on March 11, 2017 at the Lake Stevens Performing Arts Center
located at the Lake Stevens High School. The doors open to the
public at 2:00 and the opening number begins at 3:00 pm. Please
join us as our panel of five qualified judges make the difficult
choices in selecting the new Miss Aquafest Royalty.
The new Royalty will represent Aquafest
in four parades and many other community experiences such as
National Night Out against Crime, Halloween Bootacular, Military
Families Christmas Party, Pink in the Rink and Showcase Lake
Stevens. The Royalty also participates and raises funds and
awareness for charities through walking in events such as: Relay
for Life of Lake Stevens, Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention
Walk, and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The Miss Aquafest
Royalty has received the Presidents Volunteer Service Award for
their involvement in communities throughout Snohomish county five
years in a row!
Please join us at the Miss Aquafest Pageant
and cheer on the beautiful, charming, and talented contestants
vying for one of the 6 coveted titles. The Aquafest Association
believes that these young ladies are all royalty. These
remarkable Miss Aquafest finalists are invited to participate
some of our events throughout the year.

2016 Miss Aquafest Pageant
On Saturday, March 26, 2016 a new Aquafest Royal
Court was crowned. The girls ranged in ages from 5-17. This county
wide pageant selects 11 young ladies to represent Aquafest in
community service activities and parades throughout Snohomish
County. The contestants competed in four major categories
including interviews, public speaking, casual wear and formal
wear. They learn the importance of personal presentation in a
business setting, public speaking, the importance of community
service, and confidence. Five superb judges had the tough job of
choosing the winners. Our five judges this year were
Representative Mark Harmsworth, Vice-President of Development and
Communications of Volunteers of America Mark Johnson, Community
Manager for Relay For Life Ilene Levering, Katelyn Baller Seafair
Princess 2013, and Miss Aquafest Community Service Queen 2013
Courtney Curdy. Janice Huxford was our Mistress of Ceremonies.
