2012 Entertainment
Lineup Bios
FRIDAY, JULY 27th
North Cove Stage
Joachim
Nordensson
Joachim is a crossover guitar artist and balladeer whose
eclectic style meshes upbeat and mellow rock with a
serving of jazzy pop. His guitar work mixes straight
finger picking with strumming that reveals the influence
of artists like Chet Atkins, John Mayer and even Django
Reinhardt. Joachim's singing style, reminiscent of Jack
Johnson or Dave Mathews is immensely personal and
intimate, as if he knows the listener and is singing
precisely for you. Joachim has been writing and
performing his music in the Pacific Northwest for the
past three years. At twenty Joachim may seem a musical
youngster, but don't be fooled. |
SweetKiss
Momma
SweetKiss Momma developed their impressive chops on the
classic spirituals and gospel they played at the
multiple weekly services, and from this base, began
developing their blues rock vibe. An international
internet radio sensation, , and one of CD Baby’s top
selling bands since the release of their full length
debut album Revival Rock, five piece Roots Rock
powerhouse SweetKiss Momma proves that explosive, high
octane Southern-style rock-n-roll can come from
anywhere—even the Pacific Northwest. |
The
Magic of Brian Ledbetter
Headlining Aquafest’s Friday Family Night entertainment
is The Magic of Brian Ledbetter and Co. Ledbetter is a
nationally-recognized master magician, who is equally at
home on stage performing fantastic stage illusions, as
he is in the meeting room performing strolling close-up
magic. The Magic of Brian Ledbetter has received rave
reviews with his illusions, magic, humor, and
professionalism. His twelve year background in theatre
has crossed over into his magic, honing it to a seldom
reached level of perfection. His magic is performed with
grace, wit, charm, class, poise, and presence. It is
these ingredients that make a truly charismatic and
memorable performer. Rarely can you see one performer
execute spellbinding, dramatic stage illusions,
hilarious comedy/audience participation magic, and
baffling close-up magic all in one show aimed for
children, adults, or the whole family! Ledbetter’s
award-winning, high level magic can be seen at fairs,
festivals, exhibitions, casinos, corporate events, theme
parks, etc. Aside from performing, Brian creates
specialized custom special effects for theatrical
events, and designs and builds illusionary equipment.
